What is an AMC and how do I manage contracts in Branova AMC?
An AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) covers a customer's equipment for a fixed period — typically one year. In Branova AMC you create a contract by adding the covered assets, choosing the coverage type (comprehensive, which includes spares and labour, or non-comprehensive, labour only), and setting the start date, end date and contract value in ₹. Once saved, the contract becomes the single source of truth for everything that follows — visits, SLAs, renewals and billing.
How are scheduled / preventive service visits handled?
You define a preventive-maintenance (PM) schedule for each contract — for example quarterly or monthly — and Branova AMC automatically plans the visit due dates across the contract period. The system generates upcoming visits and sends reminders so nothing slips, and you always have a clear calendar of what is due and when.
Do I get contract renewal reminders?
Yes. Branova AMC sends automatic reminders before a contract expires, so you can reach out to the customer and renew on time. This helps you avoid coverage gaps and lost recurring revenue from contracts that quietly lapse.
Can I assign visits to technicians / field staff?
Absolutely. You can assign each job or visit to a specific technician, track its status from scheduled through to completed, and capture service reports and customer signatures on site. This gives you a full record of who did what, when and where.
Is there a free plan / what does it cost?
Yes — there is a free tier so you can start managing contracts at no cost. Paid plans are priced in ₹ and you can cancel anytime. See pricing.html for the current plans and what each one includes.
Can I set SLAs / response times for service calls?
Yes. You can define response and resolution targets per contract or by priority level, so premium customers get faster commitments. Branova AMC tracks each service call against its SLA and flags breaches, giving you visibility into where your team is falling behind.
Can I bill for contracts and extra / out-of-contract work?
Yes. You can raise invoices for the contract value itself, and separately charge for spares or work that falls outside the coverage — for example a repair on a non-comprehensive contract. This keeps your recurring contract revenue and ad-hoc billing cleanly recorded in one place.
Can customers log service requests / track visits?
Yes. A customer portal lets your clients raise complaints or service requests themselves and see the history of visits made against their equipment. This cuts down on phone calls and gives customers confidence that their AMC is being honoured.
What reports are available?
Branova AMC includes reports for active and expiring contracts, revenue, visit compliance, technician performance and renewals due. Each report can be exported to CSV so you can share it or analyse it further in your own spreadsheets.
What is the Branova Business Suite?
Branova Business Suite is a family of connected business apps — CRM, Invoice, Helpdesk, Inventory, Booking, HRMS, AMC, Projects, Forms and Discover — that share one Branova account and a single, consistent design. You sign in once at apps.branova.in and open any app you've subscribed to. Each app is a complete product on its own, so you can use just Branova AMC or run your whole business on the suite.
If I use another Branova app, is my data shared automatically?
No. Each Branova app has its own separate database, so the business data you create in Branova AMC stays inside Branova AMC. You sign in once with a single Branova account (single sign-on), but signing in never copies or merges data between apps. Data moves between apps only if you deliberately export it or set up a specific integration yourself.
